Last night Mister Torn tells me he was googling "Cherry Torn" to see what pops up, as one does, and happened to stumble across a trailer for my Whippedass update. If you're intrigued to see different facets of your Cherry you may be interested in the last couple of photo shoots I've done. Starting with the other day when I was transformed into a zombie chowing down on some severed body parts (luckily they were severed from a shop mannequin as opposed to an actual human). This was all for an artist working on a horror movie who needed some reference pictures as a starting point for a sculpture. They take this sort of thing seriously though apparently, as the makeup alone took around 3 hours to apply! So long that my super-useful husband and escort actually fell asleep. I was most amused by the fake blood, so I would definitely like to explore that avenue a bit more, as passé as that may be. It's nice to have some exciting pivtures to show the family, my mother was very impressed. We've befriended the photographer and his girlfriend too, which is a sweet bonus.

I also did what I think may be my first ever "TFCD" shoot. As those of you in the business may already know, that stands for "Time For CD", the modern day version of "Time For Prints". The nice way of saying "Hey you don't get paid but you do get the pictures!" The shoot was with this guy, and if you like arty photography it's well worth looking at his website. Walking into someones bedroom to be photographed was an odd experience but has taught me not to underestimate what can be achieved with limited space and hardware...

Exciting news; I will be shooting for Waterbondage in a couple of weeks. Aren't you excited?! I'm excited. Water + bondage really does it for me, so something tells me this could be an awesome shoot. There's also been some talk on the kink.com forums about getting me in to do their (really fucking hot) new site The Training of O.

In personal news, I have discovered…the library. Thousands of books I can read for free! Why didn't anyone tell me!? Okay, I suppose it's actually my own fault for forgetting such a thing existed, but for fucks sake isn't it grand? The library here lets you check out 50 books at once which is a bit excessive maybe, but I'm certainly not complaining. My bookshelf is currently piled high particularly with books about makeup as I'm making some small attempt to get a bit better at that.

Inspired by the idea of learning and being productive, I was thinking that I wanted to assemble some sort of outfit. I don't just mean like any everyday nicely co-ordinated ensemble, I mean an outfit. In italics. Like a costume. Like something I can get into when I need to look especially special and impressive.

A lot of models seem to have one theme that they can do particularly well be it angel/devil/fairy/cowgirl/etc. So I thought to myself, what do I want to be when I grow up? Then it hit me, a doll! Then it REALLY hit me: The Gothic & Lolita Bible, which I'd happened to see some place or another. It's a magazine all about elegant gothic lolita street fashion which just happens to have a lot to do with dressing like a doll. I did some more Google searching and realized some people are pretty hardcore about this EGL business, which is good for me since it will make it much easier buying a ridiculous dolly dress or coat from Japan, should I feel the burning need.

Of course it would be even more awesome if I could sew my own dolly dress. Being able to sew is something I've thought would be useful more than a few times, so my 21st birthday resolution will be to make that happen. One day.

You see what I did there? Just sorta slipped in the impending birthday bit? I guess that's because I'm finding the notion bittersweet. I spent 3 years in the UK where you can go out and get drunk in cool clubs at 18, so the right to do those things isn't especially new to me. It'll be nice to do it here in San Francisco though of course, especially after a frustrating few months without as much dancing in my life as I like there to be. Truth is I've always felt a little morose about getting older. It makes the ageplay I love so much feel a whole lot less realistic, and invokes all sorts of skincare-based paranoia. Let's not forget I work in a fickle industry where youth is a very bankable asset.

But... There will still be partying. Oh yes, there shall be partying. And if you guys are super lucky maybe even pictures. But that isn't a promise mind you.
