First off, thanks to all the people who commented, emailed and supplied linkage in response to my last blog entry. Nice to know you guys are out there... We've got our eye on a couple of new padlocks now, and we'll definitely be keeping you posted with the banal details of our final purchase, like the odd minor-detail-obsessed niche perverts we are.

Also hello and welcome to everyone who found us via indienudes.com - our stats report 10 gigabytes of transfer in just 2 days! 7gb on Sunday alone! Flattering, exciting, but a tad scary. Is this the porn equivalent of being slashdotted, or do we have that to look forward to? Hopefully when and if the tidal wave does hit our webhosts will be understanding...

Moebius thinks I have the posture of a camel. I'm kidding, but I have to admit it needs work. I really admire chicks with perfect posture.

We've gone through various stages of trying to fix it. We started with simply reminding me to sit up straight. It's a nice idea, but the habit is so ingrained it really didn't solve the problem.

We moved on to fashioning posture braces out of rope. Some of them turned out quite pretty, but the force required to hold my shoulders back made the rope running under my armpits cut off my circulation. Boo.

We've decided that we need to buy something proper. We were immediately drawn to a corset from HW-Design that also comes with postural straps. During one of our trips to Vienna to shoot for X-Models we took a trip to their studio to try it on. It's absolutely gorgeous, but with a price tag to match.

They have something similar over at Marquis, but I'm really smitten with this. It corrects your posture, but the corset bit is a little less severe. How cute is that? It's something to drool over, but we'll have to become rich and famous before we can afford 500 Euros on one bit of kit.

So, we move on to the more practical option: a back support brace. This is nice in a way. It comes in black, and it's fairly attractive. It'll do a bit of tummy shaping, but I'm not sure if it will really hold my shoulders back. We'd need something more like this to do that. It's cheap as hell, but the question is will it be about as uncomfortable as the rope? It'd be a shame if it was, because it's going to be annoying enough in how it will affect what I can wear... Or at least what I can wear without strangers being very aware I'm wearing a posture brace. Hmph.

We've also found this, this, and this. Does anyone out there have any direct experience of posture correction through items such as these? What would you recomend? Was it a horrific experience? Should I really be asking? Do I really want to know what I'm letting myself in for? Are these rhetorical questions really necessary? Are they even rhetorical? Am I ever going to go back to finishing sentences with a period?

And speaking of periods... No. Wait. That's a whole other post.
